for SA customer service?
i sent my xdm 40 back on june 29, they got it on the 30th and i haven't heard anything.
the sights(front?) were off, as in hitting low.
i thougth it would be a simple swap. i aksed them to contact me if they had any specials going on for upgraded sight packages.
i guess i should have kept my mouth shut!

Same story. Sent my XDm 9 back week before the 4th because it was shooting about a foot low. No email or phone call yet about what they found. Although they did tell me normal turnaround is 2-4 weeks and " it can take longer sometimes for accuracy problems"

Unno. I wait patiently for a phone call sometime.

ESC123, I called them, had a conversation and she sent a return label.

Toddles, it sounds like they had a fleet of xds ship w/o being in spec!
The way xds/xdms are selling there's bound to be a miss or two!
Thanks for the responses!

So it's been less than 2 weeks for some and upset?  4th weekend would have slowed things down, and simple or not it's still probably fairly first in first out.

FWIW- I sent a 1911 back for some warranty work and was quoted about a month, it took almost 4 but they did ALOT of work to the gun that was unplanned by them I think, I decided to have them install grip safety and the note almost didn't make it to the smith in time to make their bluing run.  They rarely blue guns anymore so that only send out ~1 month, so I was also stuck waiting on that time table.  Things take time but the results are outstanding!

Not upset; just giving my two cents about my xdm shooting low too and quoting him the turnaround time they told me it would probably take. Megan was great to talk too and got me a return label right away without any hassle.

Toddles, please post what SA says about low-shooting.
Megan just called and told me it hits dead on so they are returning the pistol to me.
i have a good rest(cabelas, $150)that i will test it out with and if it still hits low i'll dump it.
i just wish i didn't buy 10 more mags for it!

i don't see how i can hit a clay at 25 Yards w/xdm 9, g19, xd40, g23 & s&w66 but not this xdm 40. + another shooter(he seemed to shoot well!) said it shot 4-6 inches low.
oh well, i'm glad i kept my glocks.

She got back to me yesterday, they said it was shooting 3 inches high at 25 yards...which my father and I kinda found hard to believe because I had to aim pretty high over the top of a clay at 10 yards to hit it, but she assured me they guarantee their accuracy at 25 yards. I just told her to do whatever the techs thought was best and she told me I'd hopefully have it back early next week. We'll see how it shoots when I have time to get up to cabin after I get it back.

Worst case scenario I'll go try out something else and see if I shoot that better.
