I just received one of the coolest and well thought out tac holsters I have ever layed my hands on. It's made by Edgeworks and called their SOC Rig. It's a tactical thigh rig with double thigh straps. The holster itself is made from Delrin and the modular light and trigger guard are made from Kydex. It's modular in that you can order different guards for different lights that you attach to your rails. The safety strap or keeper is spring loaded and flips open with a push from your thumb when you reach to draw from the holster. It was a snug fit at first but after a few (50) fast ISPC style draws it found its home and made for a quick draw. I would say almost as quick as my hip draw but I'm still mentaly training myself to draw from a different place on my person. They also make this rig for other platforms as well. Check them out!
