 Has anyone had experience with the 40 or 45 grouping fairly well...just not where you're aiming ?
I have 40 S*W tactical that shoot well at 25yd...but 3" high and 3" left...165gr FMJ and HPs..the sights are centered on the slide. Tried a few different makers of ammo...pattern may shift a little but no hits on POA. Recommendations ?? |

My XTM .40 was printing about 2" to the left when I first bought it. It did it for two long-time shooters (and LEO firearms instructors) and when fired from a rest. A quick sight adjustment took care of the problem. So while it could be shooter induced, it may also be the gun. I'd try using a rest & having multiple shooters shoot it. If everyone has the same results, it's likely an issue with the pistol. If it's just you, then it's just you.
