I was wondering what you carry? I have an XD 9mm in both a subcompact and a service. I like to carry the gold dot 124+p. Anyone carry the +P+ or maybe the EFMJ's?? How well does the +P+ hold up in the subcompact and the service pistols? Thanks

Gold Dots are one of the most popular Hollow Point designs so long as your gun cycles them reliably and you can shoot them without problems you're good to go.

I carry 124gr Hornady TAP, it's scary accurate out of my 4" XD.

I don't think the benefits of +P+ are worth the added recoil, especially in a subcompact.

I reload 147gr gold dots using a maximum charge of Unique in 9mm for my Glocks. Reloaded 230gr gold dots using a maximum charge or Unique for my xd45s.

Hornady TAP out of my XDm 9 and the XDm 40 shoots great and I like the reduced muzzle flash for the possibility of multiple targets.
