[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Replacement Trigger Question

I want to lighten the trigger pull on my Springfield 1911 Micro Compact. What trigger assembly products are recommended ? Are there any websites with info on the subject? I appreciate your opinion.

i've used the above to get good results on my RIA. i didn't mess with the hammer or sear, but the other info worked well

also THR (TheHighRoad) has info on trigger jobs.

I would start by replacing the mainspring if you have an ILS housing. The spring has to be significantly heavier for the lock. Replace it with an 18lb and that is a good start.
