Springfield has infact started producing 4" .45acp XD's with and ambi thumb safety. These are coming about due to feedback from police and military not liking the fact that there is no "real" safety on the firearm. ETA: I think misunderstood the question. I am not sure if they will install one on an existing, non-thumbsafety model. |
