I have a springfield XD Tactical 45. I bought the Truglow TFO sights for it & i was thinking of installing the sights myself. I know this requires some special tools & I was curious what tools I would need? Also, how hard is it to install sights?

There is NO sight pusher that will work with the Tactical model.

The sights are in TIGHT.

You will need a vice mounted on a sturdy table, a BFH and a brass drift.
Make sure to tape up your slide, and pad the vice to avoid marking it up.

Good luck
or if this sounds like something you'd rather not attempt yourself.....take it to a smith that can

I bought some ns for my xd 45 and hoped my glock sight tool would work, didn't.  Then tought I could drift with a hammer and brass punch, ha ha ha.  I ended up taking to a smith and paying 20.00, gave him 25.00.  just so I didn't screw anything up.  He used one of those Meprolight multi sight tool and still had a hard ass time.   They are freaking tight!!!!!!!!!!!
