SA used to make/sell a model called the P9, a DA/SA. It was loosely based on the CZ-75. They imported it in from Europe rather than making it theirselves, but they made it in the US starting in 1990.

Sales were low & quality was spotty at best. I almost bought one when I worked at a gun shop, but was warned off of them.

Calibers were 9mm, .40 & .45ACP. They offered standard size & compact models as well. All were dropped in the 1992-1993 time frame, according to the Blue Book.

Hope this helps!
