Does anyone know where you can get XD9 highcap mags besides Springfield? I have not been able to find any. Thanks for the information.

Just use XD .40 mags. You'll be able to fit 15rds of 9mm in them & it is completely legal. Pre-ban capacity at post-ban prices.

Keislers has the XD40 mags for $19.99 and they will legally hold 15 rounds of 9mm in your XD9 and still work in the XD40 also which makes them legal.

Thanks for the tips. I'm picking up my XD-9 Sunday and will order some magazines tonight!

By the way, do the Promags for the XD40 need to be adjusted to feed or fit in the XD9? Are there any advantages to using the Springfield Armory XD40 magazines vs. the promags? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have to bend the lips on the XD.40 CaL. mag to get them to work in a XD9? If so - how much?

If necessary the lips need to be tweaked in just a little bit. Out of the 6 that I have only 2 needed this minor adjustment and the others ran like champs from the start and this tweaking does not affect their performance in the XD40 either.
