I've got one. Had problems out of the box with Failure to Return to Battery. Bought a P14 mag, no difference. Fed it everything from Winchester white box to fmj reloads, to golden sabre, silver tips, corbon, etc. No difference. Every few rounds would get a FTRB. Called Springfield customer service, packed it up and shipped it away. They said they replaced and tuned the extractor. Haven't had a problem since. They have good customer service, and paid for the shipping, but it was a pain to lose the gun for 3 weeks while they worked on it. I've heard of other stories. None the less. I love the gun. |
| I have a buddy who bought one. He's had nothing but problems with it since new. Failure to extract and failure to return to battery, mainly. Winny White box 230gr is all he feeds it. Mags are para-ordinance mags and are in the neighborhood of 50 bucks each! YMMV. |
