Does SA use their own extended thumb safety, the narrow one as on the RO & TRP, or do they use one from another manufacturer?

I ask, because I really like their safety and want to install one on another pistol but do not want to incur shipping expense and shop fees for such a minor modification.

Or should I just pony up and pay SACS to do the work and supply the parts. Not a bad option, just trying to keep expenses down.

I think they use there own.

For a narrow extended saftey look at the Wilson tactile extended saftey pn 6BN.

I've found the saftey on the ro a bit sharp and in need of a file to break the edges.
