I have narrowed it down to two 1911. I am trying to find out if the custom operator still comes with a full length rail?  The reason I ask this is that on there web sight whine you click on the link beside the pic that reads (image) it shows an operator that does not have a full length rail.

does any one know weather or not the full length rail version is still in production or not?

Thanks for the help!

I actually made a typo, but thought I would leave it in the spirit of humor.  Anyway, I had a full length opertaor mil-spec, and it was unduly heavy.  I cut my frame, which can be seen in the first post of the Springfield photos thread.  I cut mine as far back as I could get away with using an Insight M3.  The gun is much lighter, now that there is no excess frame, and the slide has a traditional relief cut at the front.

I see used ones from time to time that are older.  There are a couple on GunsAmerica right now, but they are the TRP ones that cost a bundle.

I have a TRP Operator with a full length rail.  It is a tack driver and the extra heft is very enjoyable at the range.  I believe you can get the gun in both a full length rail and a shorter style.

Is the operator a seres 1 pistol, or seres 70 whatever SA calls it.  Or does it have the firring pin safety?

No firing pin safety.  Series 70, Series I, or whatever.

I believe the TRP full-length operator is still in production. Mil-spec and Loaded operators aren't anymore....

If I could get the TRP operator with Novak low mounts and a half length light rail Id buy it.  As it stands Im looking at the MC operator because it has those two features, I can do the trigger job myself.
