I'm really liking the look of this handgun and I'm thinking about saving my pennies to get it for my 21st birthday in July.

Everywhere I look its out of stock, what are the chances that I might beable to find one before my birthday? The reason I need it around July is I'm going back to college in August and I cannot bring it with me.

I would say firearms and ammunition demand is going to steadily increase over the next 8-18 months.  Producers are fabricating at full capacity, and have been for a while.  They are hesitant to expand, for fear of market swings leaving that investment unrealized.

You will find one if you try hard enough.  You won't find one at a bargin price.

Range Officer

These guys in Scottsdale Az have 7 in-stock as of today.  The price assumes credit card is used.  No Az sales tax, despite what the website might imply at first look.  Other than being a customer, I have no affiliation with them.

Is the Range Officer made in the USA? The above link says it is.

Also thanks for the link.

The RO has an "NM" serial number prefix which means that it was finished in the U.S. with enough U.S. value added to escape any "Made Elsewhere" stamps.
Forgings for the frame and slide were imported from Brazil. As far as what other components or fabrication operations were done in Brazil, I don't know. Springfields with "N" serial number prefix are 100% made in Brazil.
