Ok so i went out saturday and got my XDM take it out today to shoot it... first mag ok, second mag ok.. get to about the 5th and all the sudden it fails to go into battery,  so i  pull the slide back round ejects, check it its fine, put it back into  the mag rack it fire  it jams.. i take a look and the rounds are all tumbled around in the mag, upside down and all kinds of weird shit.. Anyone had problems with xd mags? seems like the follower sticks.. it irritated me cos it repeated this a few more times... i thought at first it was the pistol it self but i ruled that out.. pull out the mag, and you can literally dump the rounds out..

All 5 of my mags worked(2 with and 3 turn rebate). Mark the mag and send it back. Springfield will replace it.

I have an XD-9 that I bought back in 2004.  Eventually it started having a failure to feed problems.  Eventually I found that it came from one of the magazines.  Once I pulled it out of rotation, the problems went away.  Never sent the defective one in though.  I probably should I guess.

Please explain what rebate you are referring to.  I bought a 3.8 a couple months ago and if I missed out on 3 mags I may need to make some phone calls.

Me too but it's only for guns bought between 10/8 and 12/31

I have not had any issues with my XDm .45 but it uses the same mags as the gun I traded in and they had no issues.

Are you using the factory loader? I find it is easy for the bullets at the bottom to turn when using the factory loader. My lula loader is better but you still need to "feel" carefully while loading, for turning bullets
