Thanks.....She is kind of rough around the edges, but still a great shooter....The story is that It originally belonged to a guy who lived up in Alaska (I think he was a trapper) and it was his main carry sidearm. When he died, it ended up with a brother who did not like guns around the house. The brother puts the Ruger in the holster, then into a plastic bag and hides it under the floor of his barn/garage for who knows how long....I got the Ruger from the brother several years ago....He just gave it to me to get it out of his house. She was in pretty bad shape when I got it....Took several days to get her back in shape to shoot. I have a couple of other Ruger single actions, but this one is one of my favorites..... |
