I am looking for grips for my 19-7 square bottom. I am going to shoot it in a league this fall and am looking for a combat style grip that will be speed loader friendly. Not looking to spend a ton, am looking for something that will fill my hand more than the origianl grips do.

Thanks

You can't go wrong with Hogue rubber grips.  They feel better than Pachmayr's.  Won't break the bank either.

...and I'm going to go the exact opposite and say to go with the Pachmyr's.  I've never been super comfortable with the Hogue's the way the backstrap is still exposed.  They do feel good, but I've gone with the Pachmyr small presentation model grips on all my K and L frames.

Either way you go, the Hogues are usually under 20 bucks, maybe even 10 if you find a pair of the white ones or pick up a used pair at a gunshow or gunshop.  The Pachmyrs run like 5 bucks more, but you can also find them at gunshows and such.

I have Houge Combat grips on my 629 Mountain Gun and 629 Classic and like them just fine.

I have never been a fan of Hogues, but I will use Pachmayrs all day long.

Hogues, Pachys or Uncle Mikes, take your pick.  I've never liked Hogues.  I was a firm believer in the original Pachys for a long time.  Now most of my K frame sport Uncle Mikes.

You really need to try all three to see which fits your hand best.

I just put uncle Mikes on my S&W model 19 about 6 months ago and really like them. Plan on replacing all my S&W grips with them. I think they where like $13.00, money well spent....
