What is the best one out there for I guess tactical use,
i'm not much of a comp shooter. rigger7 |
| Safariland Comp1 or Comp2 are probably the best in my opinion for concealed carry. They are spring loaded and with a little practice they do the job. I use Comp3 speedloaders for competition and would even condsider carrying a couple of them over the standard HKS speedloaders I have to use at work. |

It also depends on which caliber and gun you plan on using them for. I only use HKS for they make them in all the calibers and models that I need. Sarfariland are faster but I like the compactness and same method of use on the HKS
J frame 22 mag, 6 shot J frame 38 Spl, 5 shot K frame 38/357, 6 shot L frame 38/357, 6 shot N frame 41 mag, 6 shot N frame 44 cal, 6 shot CA 44 SPL. 5 shot CD |

I only own hks stuff now.
They work fine for me and I decided to just pick something and stick with it. I had some safariland for a while and they were ok but now and then would eject their loads if just kept loose in a pocket by themselves or something. HKS has not caused me any issues. |

Same here. I own both Colt and S&W revovlers, and I want to keep both loaders the same.

| i dont know if your strictly thinking of speedloaders for carrying, but i kind of like the bianchi speed strips, more or less keeps the bullets all together, and you can put it in your pocket without worrying about someone noticing it. i dont know, just throwing it out there, to each his own |
