looking at a interarms virginian dragoon in 44 mag.  The price is less than what Ive found at the usual auction sites.  What  is your opinion?

They used to be thought of as pretty good guns.  When I was in the biz, the used ones never stayed around long.  I have also seen some ABSOLUTLEY STUPID handloads shot in a 45 colt and it held up pretty well over a period of time.

On mine the sights could not be regulated far enough for windage to allow correct point of aim/point of impact, and the grips wandered under recoil.
It was a nice looking gun, but very disappointing & I sold it off.

Stopped back Saturday and it was gone.  For $250 I didn't expect it to last long.
