Like most arfcommers, I have a J-Frame. I have the littel hogue bantam grip on it. I like the grip b/c I can put it in my pocket easy and so forth. However, I have somewhat big hands and it really helps to have some material on the back strap. There are some J frame grips that are bigger and have more material on the back strap, but all the ones I know of do two bad things. First, they the add a rest for the little finger which makes the grip a little too big to fit in the pocket easily. Secondly, they usually lower the hand'st grip relative to the bore axis which make muzzle flip worse. What I am looking for is a grip that keeps the bore axis situation the same as the bantam grip and that increases the grip circumfrence, particularly by adding material to the back strap, and that leaves the bottom of the frame exposed. Anyone know of anything like that? |
