How do Cimarrons "P" models compare to say a Vaquero or a Great Western? I don't know anything about single actions so excuse me if this is an apples to oranges question. Basically I'm thinking about something like a Colt SAA. It doesn't have to be an exact replica, just a solid gun. |

Cimarron's are awesome! Do a little research on them online and you will find an interesting story...mostly how the owner of C. F.A Co. was disatisfied with Uberti's quality and bugged them and bugged them and bugged them till he got what he wanted, a near perfect copy of a Colt SAA 1873...and it shows! I love my Model P U.S.V. 5 1/2" artillery model...looks great and shoots good..."feels like a Colt" in every way. best of all, I got mine on sale at Sportsman's Warehouse in Green Bay last week for $319 plus tax! Unreal. Now I got to get an 1885 holster and cartridge box to go with it! |
