I sure don't need another gun but I ran across a guy who wants to sell a Dan Wesson 357 with an 8" barrel for $300.  It looks to be in very good condition.  Is that a good deal?  If it is, I might buy it just to have it.  Waddaya think?

All the new guns are OUTSTANDING! DW was bought out over a year ago and since then, the QC is top notch.

Dunno about the DW guns made before the buyout.

Thanks.  I was more interested in a 6" barrel.  How well balanced is that long 8-incher?

Depends what you want to do with it.  I use the 8" barrel for hunter silhouette and put the 4" barrel on for general purpose stuff.  These days that is a good price BTW.

I use my 8" for deer and varmit hunting. You can buy different barrel lengths from Dan Wesson
