I have an S&W Mod 33 chambered in 38 S&W. Does any body think it would be possible to re-chamber it to 38 Spec.
Or buy another cylinder in 38 Spec.
Thanks in advance for responses.

Depending on how old it is, it may be phsyically impossible to fit a .38 Spl. cylinder. That's because the ones made from 1957 to some time in '60 were built on the I-frame, which was even smaller than the J-frame.

But even if you have a J-frame M33, I'd say keep it as-is or sell it to a S&W nut to pay for a .38 Special.

That was the very first handgun I owned, and I'd give anything to have it back.  If it were mine, I wouldn't change it one iota.

I guess I will just keep it as is then.
The only 5 rounds that have ever been fired through it were by me about two months ago.
