I started one in the 1911 forum as I started taking pictures of my collection.  I figured since I was digging through the safes I'd go ahead and snap some pics of the revolvers as well.  Obviously my collection is nothing compared to others but I have some interesting pieces that I like, so here we go!

Figured I'd start with the ones I carry the most:

Upper left is a Smith 360.  Super light and just disappears in a pocket with a Mika pocket holster.  Lower left is a Smith 442 Pinto.  Both are wearing Ahrends grips.  Upper right is a Smith 60.  It gets pocket duty on rainy days.  Gotta love stainless.  Lower right is a slightly rare one.  Colt Magnum Carry.  Colt only made them for one year.

Here's one of my prized possessions.  A Smith model 1917 45acp made in 1918.  It has both US Property markings and British proof marks.

Now some singe action love.  Both Colts.  Left is a nickel Colt SAA 357 mag 5.5" and right is a Colt Frontier Scout 22lr.  The Frontier Scout is a 1968 and it's never been fired.  Still have the box and the original grips are bagged up in the box as well.

Here's my 2.5" Model 19's:

Upper left is a 19-3 with Spresser Sambar Stag grips and a Tyler-T.  Upper right is a 19-2 also with Spresser Sambar's and another Tyler.  Lower left is a 19-5 with Ahrends grips.  It's a former Connecticut State Police sidearm.  Factory matte blued finish and a target trigger.  I believe they were used by their motorcycle cops.  Lower right is another 19-5 also with Ahrends grips.

Ok, now on to the 2.5" model 66's (well, ones a 3.25"...):

Upper left is a 66-1.  When I got it the forcing cone was toast. It was thinned way out and cracked at the bottom.  The seller included a 66-4 barrel to use as a replacement.  The replacement barrel had some big marks from it being removed.  I sent in to the Smith Custom Shop for work. They fitted the new barrel and pinned it in.  While they had it I had them polish it up as well as do a trigger job.  It's one of my favorite sidearms even though it doesn't get carried much.  The double action is smooth and the single breaks like glass.  Middle is another 66-1.  It's had Smith Custom Shop's carry package done.  Trigger job, chamfered cylinder, and bead blasted finish.  Upper right is actually a 19-2 but it's factory nickel.  Bottom left is a 66-5 3.25" special edition.  Bottom middle is a 66-7.  That's when they switched to a barrel liner so there is no flat spot on the forcing cone.  Bottom right is a 66-4.  Bone stock other than the Ahrends grips.

Now some more small ones:

Upper left is a Smith pre-40 factory nickel Centennial.  Just a Tyler-T added.  Upper right is a 1973 Colt Cobra 22lr 3".  Lower left is another Cobra but it's a 2" 38 from 1962.  Bottom right is a Smith 34-1 22lr 2".

Now for some of the N-frames:

Upper left is a 29-2.  It's also got a story behind it.  At one point the original cylinder was damaged so the previous owner sent it back to Smith.  They installed a new cylinder and hammer.  While it was there the owner had it nicked and a trigger job done.  Upper right is a Smith 24-2 3".  It's a Lew Horton special.  Bottom left is a 629-6 3" Backpacker.  Lower right is a 624.

Here's the 29-2 with a DM Bullard Elephant Hyde Bodyguard holster:

For tonight the last one is a 325 Nightguard.

I'll post more as time allows....

Oh, I've got them.  Just haven't made it that far.  Give me time.  As you can tell though I really like 2.5" K-frames.

Oh, somewhere in the great United States.  I've gotten very lucky finding good deals over the years and can appreciate a fine revolver.  They really don't make them like they used to.

Nice collection.  A little on the short barrel side in the double action department.  You need a few 5 and 6 inch barrels in there.  Though I am a bit jealous of that 1917.

I've got some longer barrels.  Just haven't dug them out of the safe yet.  I'll post more shortly.

I clicked this expecting a weak collection.

I was pleasantly disappointed!

Good job OP!

I have a couple nice 2.5" 19's as well and several other short barreled .357's.  Your collection is really impressive!

Alright, dug a couple more out:

Upper left is a 29-2 4", upper right is a pre-27 3.5" 5 screw.  Unfortunately it was refinished before I got my hands on it.  It's got a set of Sambar Stag grips and a Tyler-T.  Lower left is a 4" 19-2 with a target hammer.  Lower right is a 5" 27-2.

Here's some more:

Upper left is a 4" 66 no-dash, Upper right is a 6" 14-2, Lower left is a 17-2 22lr 8-3/8", and lower right is a model 37.

And for all the gripes about longer barrels, here you go:

8-3/4" 29-3 that's been worked over.  Target crown, chamfered cylinder, and trigger job.

And another for the "long barrel" crowd.  A 29-3 10-5/8" Silhouette model.  Still have the box and wax paper it shipped in.

Love it! Especially the model 19's, my favorite revolver.  . I recently picked up a 19-3 4".  Love that gun.

I had a model 19 snub back when I was 18.  Always regretted selling it.

Ahhh...  nice 44's you might actually be able to hit something with those nice long barrels and sight radius.  Very nice.

Thanks guys.  Here's another one I dug out this morning:

Smith model 10-8 4" HB.  Picked it up from AIM Surplus a couple years ago.  She's got some honest holster wear but the action is smooth.  Those are proof marks on the barrel in addition to the wear.  I've got another Model 10 4" with a thin barrel I still need to pull out of the safe along with a Diamondback and some other Smith's.

I have a model 57 no dash 41 mag that has target grips, hammer and trigger. Would it decrease the value to refinish the grips?  The clear has some chips in the bottom of the grip.  No other defects. It has been shot quite a bit.  Not exactly collector condition but it's in good shape.

Lots of S&W double actions (I like the well used model 10) and a few single actions.  How about something unique?  Any top break revolvers?

No, nothing like that.  I'd love a Webley.  I do have a beautiful Diamondback that I still need to dig out of the safe.  Couple more Smiths as well.

I was away for training this last week so sorry about no updates.  Anyway, here's a Smith 64-2 2" with a set of Spresser Sambar stags:

So, I got the mat out for pictures and I got some help:

One more update and I think this might be it.

Smith 10-7 4" standard barrel.  It's basically perfect.  Sorry about the crappy picture.  Didn't notice it till it was already uploaded.

Smith 18-4 4" with Ahrends grips:

And finally a 4" Diamondback in 38 Special.  If memory serves it's a '68 and in again perfect condition:

I think I've made it to the bottom of the safe but if I find any more I'll post them up.

I officially hate you OP! I'm not the jealous type in life but I'm a tad jealous of your revolver collection. I have a few mint Smith M-36's and a Colt Agent. There is just something so comforting about about having a snub revolver tucked in a back pocket when out and about. Nice collection OP!

Thanks man, I think...

No new revolvers but I did get some new grips from Spresser Knife Works.

66-2 on the left (the one with the swapped barrel and trigger work) and the 64-2 on the right.

I do love the feel and look of these Sambar grips.  The 66-2 has the grips from one of my 19-3's and it got new ones...

Sorry about the Gold Cup in there.  All three have new grips from Spresser.  Gold Cup has stabilized Giraffe bone and the other two are Sambar Stag.

Those are sick snubs CompuVette! And I'm a hard core 1911 fan as well. Here's a pic of my vintage M-36's with Altamont grips. The new grips have made these snubs an absolute joy to shoot. Both are now in the carry rotation. The blued 36 gets strong side pocket carried and the nickel 36 is carried on a high ride Bianchi belt holster. Below is a new Springer Champion Operator that I've been vetting the last 3 weeks... Your revolver collection is astounding Comp! Thanks for sharing your pics!!!
