Should I choose the Cimarron or the Taylors & Co. Price for each is about the same?

| I may be wrong but I think they are both made by the same Italian company and the two companies you name simply have their name put on them. I have heard claim that some importers have higher quality standards than others for accepting guns, I am not sure you could go wrong either way. Good friend had two smith and Wesson made versions ( they were produced around 1999-2000 I think) and his were back to smith twice for issues. I do not find the grip and reach to the hammer at all comfortable and prefer my colts |
| I have a Taylor imported Uberti "Russian" in .45 colt.. the grips is different on this model, very comfortable. Its well worth the price.. tight lock up, accurate if you can load your own to match the sights. Either one is a Uberti made product, so you can't go wrong either way.. |
