They killed it again?

Ruger needs to step it up some on making people aware of the cartridge instead of letting the gigantic 460 and 500 sized revolvers rule.

Would have been more successful if S&W had chambered it----- ruger's revolver's are kind of love them or hate them "(except the single actions)

Why did they not chamber the 480 in a single action?  Even though Bill's dead, Ruger misses the boat sometimes.  But so does S&W, Glock, others.

Oh yeah !   --- just seeing the pic of the S&W "Governor" makes me laugh - they saw Taurus selling so many Judge's and instead of taking the high road, figured they's jump in themselves --- now Glock coming out with a 380 that is bigger than a KelTec or a Sig 238, but with the same ammo capacity would be another example of missing the boat (although they will sell a ton of them)  --- likely plenty more examples out there

I did not know the 480 wasnt put in a Blackhawk though -- interesting --- seems like a great single action cartridge -- Rossi even chambered a levergun in it

Nope, No Blackhawk 480.  There were some BFR 480s....
