So I was surfing Craigslist the other day and I found a listing for an unfired S&W 686-5! I didn't believe it couldn't be unfired outside of the factory until I saw it in person. Only three cylinders has any sign of gun powder. It still has the gunked up preservative from the factory on it. Ok, so it has MIM trigger and hammer but it doesn't have the lock. Paid $600 in a private transaction which is on the high end, but you don't see unfired pre-lock 686s too often.
