Hi, first off, I love my 1860 conversions....the are accurate and look sharp....I had been shooting only one, "getting used to it" so to speak....this week I took the second to the range and it too was very accurate, but, would not eject the empties....specifically:
1) The ejector rod will rotate, but not move rearward 2) The ejector rod "square/rectangular" section (at the muzzle end, next to the tab/handle to pull the ejector rod into the cylinder) is too large to move toward the cylinder to push the empty cartridges out of the cylinder 3) There is no way, I mean no way, that this was functionally tested before the gun was shipped....and begs the question, if the weapon was test fired, how did they empty it of empty cartridges? 4) If they did test fire it, they would have caught this- how did they not? I cleaned the revolver and would like to ship the barrel/ejector rod assembly back for repair, it is a brand new, fired twelve times, Sent a note to Cimmaron, anyone else have this problem? Thanks, WaltK |
