I have been looking for a .357 for hiking purposes and came across a 19-3 with a 2.5 in barrel, DA only. It looks to be about 80% , the guy wants $450 . Trying to find out what a good price is and if this is the smith i have been looking for.

About right in today's market. The 2.5 inch guns tend to attract a premium. I doubt you'll find one for much less.
