So i am with my girlfriend at a family party and her uncle asks meto check out "an old pistol he has and tell him of its worth anything. I was expecting some ordinary pistol. He gets the case and pulls it out and im in shock. He has a .357 Colt Python 3" in absolute prestine condition, like it was the day it was made. Im just holding it and drooling (considering it is one of my dream guns) and he asks, "couple hundred maybe?" i tell him how much its worth and he doesnt believe me til i prove it online to him. Then he gives me the story... He won it many years ago with a 25 dollar raffle ticket, took it home and never shot it. Just blew my mind. Hes obviously not a gun guy haha. Good news is he will sell it to me for 750 bucks!!! |

I had a 2 1/2" in the mid seventies. I did not like it, as the balance was terrible. Gun is too heavy for that short a barrel. On the other hand, the 6" Custom Shop I had was very nice. I just prefer S&W actions over Colt. But I'm sure the one you are about to get is well worth the money.
