Do you guys think that if I took my Post recall Ruger LCP with Crimson Trace to the local gun shop ( Same Shop I bought it from) they would trade me  a Sig p238?
I have all packing boxs cards...everything that came with both the pistol and the laser. The gun has had 3 mags down it (yes only18 rounds)!
What do you think I sould be prepared to here?
Thanks,
Jesse

I'm gonna guess they'll offer you $325 for it, if you're lucky.

I bet if you are not good friends with dealer they will offer you 250 toward a used trade and 275 toward a new trade..By the way I like my lcp. The best hidden protection for money, other wise I might trade it for LCR. It weights alittle more and cost about 100bucks more. I like it cause revolvers tend to be more reliable..

I would say, no. Guns are just like cars, once they are out the door they are used. I would say they will offer 80% of retail on the used LCP.

I would guess they would allow about 80% of what you paid for the gun in the condition you describe, plus about 50% of the Crimson Trace.

Just like cars, you will get more selling it on your own then from a dealer.
They have to sell it at the price someone else is willing to pay for a used gun, so you will get less from the dealers.
