Did Ruger pay Kel-Tec for the design rights of their P3AT ?  If not, how in the world are they getting away with making that pistol?  By the way, Im not knocking it...it looks nicer than my P3AT

No.

The keltec has a wider frame than the LCP.

Don't expect Ruger will patent the LCP either as they have just as many problems as the Kel-tecs . Still waiting on Mine going on 4 weeks from there Customer Service in Az . Trigger breaks ater 18 rounds . Who would be wasting there time patenting a rock.........WVleo

If you want to build a sling shot, you don't have to patent anything unless you use a newly developed sighting laser sighting system.

For those who have the LCP and haven't had any problems, How do you like it?  I'm looking for a good concealed carry gun.  I'm 22 and when I turn 23 I'll be able to get my liscense to carry.  I've got a Taurus model 85, but it doesn't fit comfortably in a pair of jeans.  I checked out my buddies kel tec and liked it, fit in my pocket perfect, but I am partial to Ruger.  I've also got a Springfield xd45, but it's also to big to carry.
