They're great. Sent in my P-85 I got four years ago for the safty up date. It also had a broken extractor. Back within two weeks safty up date extractor fixed and a new mag to cover my shipping cost. Now thats the kind of company I like to do business with. Oh and my LCP, 150 rnds no problems..... |

I too had a great experience with Ruger. Sent in a P345 that I bought used and suffered from the fail to fire every so often. I am quite sure it was previously dry fired without the magazine, which is a no no. A friend of mine dropped it off and they updated the barrel, trigger, firing pin and spring and the recoil spring to the latest offerings. I informed them that my friend would be unable to pick it up and they shipped it to me and I had it the next day. The best part is, the problem is solved and I could not be more happy with the gun. I will write them a letter and will most likely purchase another Ruger at some point. Take care...Jeff |

I traded for a P-85 in about 1989. There was problems with the safety/hammer drop lever. Saw the recall notice, and called them up. They sent me a box and a pre-paid UPS sticker, sent the brown truck with the guy in the brown uniform to pick it up, did the work, sent it back in about 2 weeks and included 2 new magazines. The box also had Ruger patches, catalogs and other literature, as well as a coupon for discount ammo. They have been nothing but spectacular whenever I have had the need to deal with them. Ripsaw |
