Are V-Notch sights easier if your eyes aren't that good?  Im considering putting V-notch sights on my Ruger GP100 (if I can find some, anyone?) and my Ruger Mark III.

For me they seem to be, but they work best paired with a bead front sight. My MK III slabside came with a fiber optic bead front/V-notch rear. You can probably take your GP100 to a gunsmith and he can trim down the factory sight blade into a V-notch for you in just a few minutes.

The V sights don't work for me at all. I have had to change out the sights on my MK III Hunter and my S&W 360 Kit Gun because I couldn't hit anything with that setup. I went back to plain, black serated ramp front and square notch rear sights.
