What kind of accuracy can you expect out of a GP-100?

I have owned a gp -100 for over 10 years and I am very content with it's accuracy and servicability.  I enjoy it.  i own HK's, Beretta's, Rugers, Colts, and kel-tecs.  I enjoy the GP-100, for a wheel gun.

i don't own one but i bet it shoots to point of aim better than you do.

i have 2 blackhawks i like and a SP101.  Ruger makes great guns.

I like the GP100 so much that I have 2, actually, a 3rd is on it's way. Nobody makes a DA revolver that fits my hand better right out of the box. I actually ordered one when they first came out, it was my first revolver. Sold it during hard times and have since made up for that loss.
They seem popular enough, I've just never figured out why they aren't even more popular. I gave $350 for a 6" full lug SS NIB on friday.

Better than you can hold.

Lets just say that with my 6" GP100 using .357 rounds, I can hit the bullseye and keep a 2" group at 25 yards. At 15 yards I can't tell the difference when I'm shooting double or single action with .38 or .357 in the accuracy department. Enough said.

+1 there, my 4" GP-100 is far more accurate than I could ever expect from a short barreled revolver.

In a word?  Death-ray.  Mine's the most accurate handgun that I own.  The Sig comes closer than any of the others, but the Ruger is really in a league of its own among my small stable of pistols.

I bought one when they first came out, 6" barrel; it seemed to point and shoot itself with me being present a mere formality.

I've had my 6" ss for several years, thousands of rounds. I can plug the center of a 1" circle at 20 feet. Always. I love the gun. I'ts rock steady and always hits right on. I did put some hi viz sights on it, kept losing the front sight in dim ranges.

I love my GP and like everyone else said it shoots better than I do.
I love the Hi Viz  Where did you find them?

Ordered one a few weeks ago, came in to my FFL on Friday, did the paperwork on Saturday. Manufacture date January 18, 2008. I was like damn they get them things out fast.
