What do you guys think?  I've been thinking about getting a 22/45 to introduce my daughter to pistol shooting.  I figure the little bit lighter Lite model might help with arm fatigue.

Should I go for the Ruger factory pistol, or try to find a used pistol and add a pac-lite barrel onto it?

I bought my wife a 22/45 lite because its lite and for supressor use.
I couldn't come up with a cost effective way to build one like your talking about doing.
I dont see any big benefit of building to justify the cost i'm sure opinions vary.

I have a pac lite barrel on a browning buckmark.
When u already own a buckmark it's the perfect solution.
