And I notice quite a bit of rattle in the cylinder area. Is this something to be concerned about or is it normal? I fired just fifteen rounds of hollow points through it to make sure it functioned right when I took my vp9 out last week and the ruger did fine. Just curious about the rattle

Thanks.

It's probably the transfer bar. You can take it apart and see. The LCR pretty easy to take apart.

I have a 22 LR version; took it apart; shimmed the hammer and trigger, polished the transfer bar,  reprofiled the trigger and got the trigger pull down to 8 lbs.

Yeah they rattle, its the transfer bar as stated above.

Annoying, but nothing to worry about.
