I recently was given a 1976 4" stainless security six.  Says "Made in the 200th year of american liberty" on the side.  Does
this add any value over later models?

Thanks.

To a collector it may. To the average shooter, no. I had a Mini-14 that was a Bicentennial model several years ago. It was the 180 series with the wooden hand guard.

I loved the way it looked, but it wasn't too accurate.

No.

It's one of an entire year's worth of production.
