Sorry if this has been posted, but my search-fu is weak.

Who here has replaced the trigger in their LCP?  Did it make a noticeable difference?  Is it worth it.

I carry my LCP quite a bit, but I don't shoot it often…or nearly as much as I should.  I shot 50 rounds through it this past weekend, and was reminded how long the trigger pull is.

Just curious to hear what the feedback is.

Just did mine last night with the RTK trigger from galloway, the reduced hammer spring, and heavy guide rod spring from Wolf Springs.  Feels night and day better (dry fire only so far). I hope to hit the range soon to evaluate the recoil difference, but the trigger pull is much better.  Seems worth it so far and fairly easy install.

Edit: My LCP is gen 1, may not be a big difference between the gen 2 and aftermarket triggers as I understand Ruger made substantial improvements on the gen 2.

Mine is a Gen 1.  Would love to hear an AAR.

Put about 35-40 rounds through it today and really liked it.  The lenghth of pull is still long, but is much lighter and smoother, and the shape of the trigger keeps your finger from having to go back quite so far.  The recoil, even with a 13lb Wolff spring is still a bear, but its not a range gun.  I am happy I did the swap.

Without a doubt in my mind, I say to you: Trade that sucker in on a new model.  The new trigger is nice and the sights are improved.  You won't lose much, as old model Elsie Peas sell for the same price as the new models.
