Is there anyone who manufactures an LCI filler for those who want to delete the LCI on the MKIIIs?

Is it possible to just file down the extension that protrudes down into the chamber?

Thats what I did. Popped it out, hit it with a Dremel and had it back together in a couple of minutes.

The guy who was offering those parts was selling them through a thread on Rimfire Central which I can't seem to locate now. I only have one MK III upper mated to a MK II frame (yes, it is a Frankengun, but it runs perfectly), and it does have one of the SS fillers in place on it because there was interference between it and the frame, so I dispensed with it.

All the rest of my MK pistols are unmodified MK II's, and one original "MK I".

Are you asking about my (or I should say, my wife's) FrankenRuger? I don't currently have any pics of it, but if needed, I guess I could take some.

Take it out and leave it or

Tape it off and use JB Weld

#1 is the best option

Did this on my LC9. It works fine, and I don't think a shark is swimming towards me when ones chambered anymore.LOL

I took mine apart and removed that little "blade" piece that protrudes into the chamber...

Then reinstalled the black plastic peice...

I can try to post pics next time I've got the gun apart for cleaning if people would like.

E-mail for the guy who makes the filler panels though is:

[email protected]

Here's the response I got when I contacted him about them...

I've bought a couple of the LCI fillers from Bruce Patza and wouldn't hesitate to buy more.

However, recently Tandem Cross  has also started offering a filler also.

I ended up with the TandemKross.  I bought their hammer bushing and was happy with their product.

I feel the TandemKross LCI filler could have been better machined to fit tighter into the slot, but it does the job.
