[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Barrel Warning

I guess it's been a while since I've looked at new Ruger handguns.
When did they stop putting that ugly ass warning on the guns?

EDIT: Went back and found warning on bottom of barrel , not nearly (apparently)
as noticeable as the barrel side markings.

What gun?

All three of my "new" Rugers have the warning.

LCR-22 (near cylinder on frame)
MK III (left side receiver)
New Vaquero (bottom of barrel)
SR22 (right side of frame)

My Ruger SR1911 has NO barrel warnings.

Small warning on underside of dust cover. Laser engraved. Not rolled like its 1998.
