So went to there website to order a Hogue bantam boot grip for the LCR back on the 17th of January. Website states that due to extremely high sales volume orders are taking 2-3 weeks to process.
OK I can understand that. So I notice that the 1st week of Feb the charge went pending on my account and then dropped off. So called them up and asked whats going on? Was told that there system will charge before it processes thru to make sure funds are available and it wasnt ready to ship so dropped off. Now get another pending charge for same amount that also just dropped off. So this time I call back and ask when will it ship. Was told that there pos system is kicking back my cc because of a billing address issue. Confirm that they do have the correct address and I made 2 prior purchases this week, same cc and same billing/shipping with 2 other online retailers and those are good. So am then told that it must be my bank kicking it back. OK so I call my bank and they confirm that a pending charge was posted 2 different times from ShopRuger and that ShopRuger didnt finalize the transaction and it just dropped off. The bank did nothing with the transactions. So call back just now with this info and am told the same thing. And now they want me to send a check for the grip and tell me that it will go out in another 2-4 weeks AFTER they get my check. NOW COME ON! At this point its not worth it to me. Told them to just forget it and there better not be anymore charges pending or otherwise. And they arent getting a check. |
