Looking at getting a used one.  What should I look for?   For example dont these have a problem with dry firing with the mag out damaging the block?   Any way to tell if this is the case?  What kind of warrenty do they have?

Thanks

I just bought a new one this past weekend and the manual says to never dryfire with the magazine out.  You can dryfire all you want with the magazine in.  Other than that I don't have much more to offer.

Good luck with your purchase!

Buy used one if you want.  Ruger has some of the best customer service in the industry.   They don't really care if you are the 1st owner or the 10th owner.

If you take the Mag disconnect "thingy" out (an easy operation) then you can dry fire all you want with or without a mag in.

I love mine!   I shoot it every month in a local combat shoot and I wouldn't trade it for a Glock.
