Brought home a neat little LCP a few days ago. My version has the slide hard-chromed. As you may be aware, the sights are quite small on the LCP. In hard-chrome, the front sight just about disappears. Has anyone tried to paint the front sight to increase visibility? Maybe paint it black to increase the contrast with the hard-chromed slide? Any ideas on this? I know these are designed primarily to be point and shoot at close distance, but I am "trained" to look for a front sight picture. Thanks,

You can always have a set of real sights fitted to it also. I happened to stumble on this today while looking at their suppressors (no relation/etc, just happened to notice it on their website).

| I understand the point and shoot statements....some of Us may carry it ON and OFF Duty as a backup weapon that we have to qualify with from back to the 15 yard line....I have the black matte and used white fingernail polish on the front sight and it has held up for over a year of carrying it in a pocket holster |

Ditto on the hot pink, had the wife get a bottle to avoid getting funny looks at check out. |
| I bought the Crimson Trace Laserguard on mine after I shot it a few times. It's the only laser sight I have on anything and it works great. Head shots out to 21 feet and center mass hits to 25yards no problem. I found the laser a great aid to learning to pull the long trigger without moving the gun as well. |
| A good trick with point-and-shoot guns is to paint a line down the top of the slide, or use a thin piece of bright-colored tape. This is especially handy for a home defense shotgun. A bit of first-aid tape on top of the barrel really shows where it's pointing in a dark house. |

I wonder what that costs..... |

There are a couple threads about that on LCP Forum...
I tried to get some info on the .32 NAA that Innovative Arms makes (specific questions on it, including price), but was only told to follow them on Facebook. Being I didn't have a Facebook account at that time, I said the hell with it. |

I don't know but I've been thinking about having it done to mine. The sights are my only real complaint with the gun. |

That includes the sights, the install, and a slide refinish. $10 or so shipping. To polish the barrel and feedram is $10. They project a two to three week turnaround. The front is a Trijicon. The rear is not illuminated. |
