Hey, stupid question, but what version does the LAPD SWAT team uses. I saw something in a past issue of American Riflemen, but can't seem to find it. I probably sent it to Iraq in a past care package. Those guys will read anything they can get their hands on.

If I'm not mistaken they use the Kimber Custom TLE II.

I can get a stainless here for about 950 or a regular (whatever you call the dark matte) for about 800. I just bought the Stainless w/rail, night sights. I love it.

$769 in Portland, OR last week. I saw $731 on the web but I don't remember where.

Worth every penny.

And yup, that's the SWAT gun, or so they say.
