Just bought the thing yesterday, Took it out to the range put 100 rounds through it, shot great. Turns out i have a busted Ejector, the front pin is sheared off, so now i have to call customer service tomorrow see about getting it replaced.

Holy crap, never seen one do that on a new one before.

See if they can just send you an ejector.  It's just a small diameter roll pin that holds it in, cross-ways through the frame.  You can see it in the inner part of the slide rail on the frame.  Not too hard to remove and replace.

Low cycle fatigue brought on by some type of flaw in the part. Is this a MIM part? If it is, it was most likely due to some porosity.

Wow, that sucks.  You pay too much for a Kimber to have that happen.
