| Ive had my eyes on this gun for quite awhile already, but am having a hard time justifying this over the TLE. Anyone have any opinions? What do ya'll see as the going price for one. Now this is going to be my first 1911, but I want something really nice because I dont want to end up collecting these untill I have a few other firearms in my stash |

Bob, I bought a Tactical Pro, and I love it. The feel and balance are great, and it shoots POA, everytime. Totally reliable. Then, I started shooting IDPA and wanted something with a 5" barrel, and felt similar in the hand. I bought a TLE and installed grips and magwell to match the Tactical Pro. I figure I saved about $200 over the Tactical Custom. The other thing is that shooting lot's of practice rounds in the TLE doen't bother me. The TLE has a steel frame seems like it should last longer. I carry the Tactical Pro and shoot it a lot. I'd reccommend either, no that's not right, I reccommend both! |
