I may have some problems with my TLE II but I think it is all caused by the mags.  I have one Kimber mag and two of these mags:Mags.  It seems that the floor plates are bending and alowing the mags to be inserted too far and causing FTF and FTE.  Has anyone had this problem or amI doing something wrong.

+1 I dont think I ever even tried the factory mags. CMC is the way to go.

Yup, likely a magazine problem. I'd go with the Wilson Combat mags over the Chips but that's just me.

Why Kimber, as a supposed producer of high-quality handguns, would include crappy-assed magazines with their guns is far beyond my understanding, but it's a verrrrry common complaint.

Yep it is.  I haven't had any problems with the one and only Kimber mag I have, but I buy primarily Wilson 47Ds and CMCs.  They've both worked well in my Kimber.

To be sure, the Wilsons are the best.

Kimber's KimPro Tac Mag's are excellent mags. Years back Kimber
did have a problem with their mags, so they went back to the drawing
board & KimPro is the results. I've got some McCormick shooting stars
mags & the KimPro's are way better. The shooting stars have flimsy feed
lips & Kim Pro's Lips are rock solid. So if get them you will not be
disapointed. Each one also comes with 2 extra base plates & 2 pads one regular
one extra thick for extended mag well which I have on my SIS RL

Last time I was at the range there was a nice older gentleman shooting a brand new SIS.  Jammed at least once every mag. (fail to feed)  I let him borrow a Wilson 47D and the jams went away.  I don't doubt that the Kimber mags are better than the Shooting Stars though.  The CMC mags that most folks recommend are the CMC Power Mags, not the Shooting Stars.
