i feel that i could get more out of it  if i play my card right than jus sending it back.. that really could have caused some trouble if i didnt beg  the range master to believe that i jus got the gun a few hours ago and  not call the cops...

No, don't fuck with something like this. Send it back ASAP.

OTOH if the prospect of being anally raped for the next 10 years is somehow appealing to you, then by all means, play with fire.

I'm done with you after reading this. You sound like a total troll. Retract that, please continue to shoot it, especially around cops.

this kimber belongs to my best friend and his first 1911, i dont want to cause any trouble but that gun really could have done some damage if he was new shooter and the fact that the range master was going to call that cops and mad such a stink of this infront of evryone  jus makes me mad.. i love kimber i jus got my SIS but they could hook me up with something for the trouble. u would hate to be locked up for few weeks until u could prove that u didnt do it.

So I'm confused, is this your gun or your friend's?

its his i talked him into getting it and that its the best gun ever but he wants me to handle this because he is not a great talker.. what if i got another one of my friends that cant shoot worth a shit that gun and when it let off 8 rounds i was hit by one or thank god it didn't happen but some other shooter was hit. P.S i love guns but this type thing should never happen  and never from a KIMBER  . maybe a smith

ok look at it like this kimber could be nice and do something 4 the trouble. forget all else said. u would jus give them the gun back and think nothing of it? every last person at the gun store said that someone should make them do something or send sort of compensation.

How does not having the ATF up your ass sound for compensation?
Don't be a dumbass - send it back and get it fixed.
Have them pay for shipping costs both ways, replacement, fixing the gun, etc, but don't try to shake them down for more than that.

If you're looking for money or extras from kimber, let me just say that that type of thinking is why I have warnings stamped all over some of my favorite pistols and why I have these stupid firing pin safetys in guns that were never originally designed to have them.  Partner, grow up.  Man made things break, they malfunction.  Contact Kimber and let them  fix or replace the gun.  Any more than that and you make yourself out to be....well I can't say it here.

Contact Kimber and have them replace/fix the weapon, .... discussing anything else being done to or using the weapon for would be illegal
