 Any idea how Kimnber deals with FTE'S on their external extractors after the 2nd time returned for the same problem?

Maybe they will replace the entire slide assy with an internal JMB approved one. I know that K did more then a few external replacements that way.

Contact Kimber and tell them you want the slide replaced for one with an internal extractor.

I would call the Custom Shop at Kimber and ask for Dennis.  Explain your extraction problems to him.  He will likely have you return the pistol for their inspection, and in all probability, you will get it back in 2 to 3 weeks with a new IE slide and some general tuning of the pistol, perhaps reaming of the chamber, etc., all for no-charge under your warranty.

muggs13, which model pistol do you have?  Iam in the process of doing the same thing. I have the full size tactical.  Will be shipping it back this week for FTE problems.

I have a F/S Tactical that needs to go back also.  It also has a problem feeding on top of FTE.

How long is their warranty?

Sent my Tac Pro to Kimber a year ago with the same problem as it was to be a duty weapon , on the second trip they replaced the slide with a internal external.   Worked fine since. Keep at it.
