I am sure that you will be pleased with it.  That model has been my backup pistol at work for 2 years and it has always performed well.  Start saving your money, one is never enough.

You did good!!!  

I've had the Compact model for about 2½ yrs.  It has been flawless in operation and reliability.  I also have a TLE which I purchased 4 yrs. ago and it has also been flawless in operation and reliability.  Both guns are very accurate based on my experience, and in comparison to other 1911's.  (I have a Wilson & a Dan Wesson, too.)

I'm now thinking about acquiring Kimber's Aegis Compact.  As you most likely will find out, it's difficult to own only one Kimber!

Very nice!

I've had a couple of CDP Compacts, a Compact Stainless and a Gold Combat. Everyone sang without a hitch.
